Once again, TVAG addresses a gap
in Skirmish War Games accessories, especially in 54mm. "On The Border" is a collection of self-printed,
self-assembled models which add new dimension to miniatures battles, especially in 1:1 figure to man ratio games.
Each "On The Border" design can be
easily assembled upon printing on heavy card stock and using 5mm MDF or standard foam core to back walls and provide
flooring/bases. Once so assembled, the photographic textures of adobe walls, sandy streets, signage, etc require
no painting, providing a finished product visually superior to most other media.
Some designs can gain in
three-dimensionality with the use of suitable dowel for beams, but all have recessed doorways and windows, as well as doors
and shutters, which can provide maximum authenticity. All models are designed to allow roofs to be removable for interior
access, if desired. Separate street sections are also available for a complete layout--all you need to provide are the cacti,
agave, banditos, soldatos, peones and battle!
As with all TVAG PDF building designs,
each is priced at only $10.00 for maximum economy and finished appearance. Sets may be ordered singly or as a collection at
a discounted price. And, like all PDF's, once bought may be printed as often as desired to aid in assembly, and to make as
large a layout could desire.
